Angelique, Halle, and Anneliese are working super hard to get Dreams of a Scientist: Lessons from the Sea released!! We got out first prototype the 2nd week of March, and hope that books will be ready to ship out by the end of May.
Our book follows Margo, a shy girl who finds her confidence on an underwater adventure! Along the way, she meets 20 real-life scientists that we interviewed to incorporate their research and journeys. By highlighting scientists from a diverse set of backgrounds, this story will provide readers with role models who resemble themselves! Margo’s adventure and the scientist’s autobiographies will emphasize our message that anyone whose passionate and curious about our oceans can be a marine scientist, regardless of their background or identity.
