Our book is officially out!
After more than two years, of drafting, designing, and learning all about how to self-publish a book, we have officially released our book Dreams of a Scientist: Lessons from the Sea!
Our book follows Margo, a shy girl who finds her confidence on an underwater adventure. Along the way, she meets 20 real scientists whom we interviewed to incorporate their research and journeys. By highlighting scientists from diverse backgrounds, this story will provide readers with role models who resemble themselves! Margo’s adventure and the scientists’ autobiographies will emphasize our message that anyone passionate and curious about our oceans can be a marine scientist, regardless of their background or identity.
