Angelique, Halle, and Anneliese are working hard to get Dreams of a Scientist: Lessons from the Sea released! We received our prototype in the second week of March, and hope the books will be ready to ship by the end of May.
Our book follows Margo, a shy girl who finds her confidence on an underwater adventure. Along the way, she meets 20 real-life scientists whom we interviewed to incorporate their research and journeys. By highlighting scientists from a diverse set of backgrounds, this story will provide readers with role models who resemble themselves! Margo’s adventure and the scientists’ autobiographies will emphasize our message that anyone passionate and curious about our oceans can be a marine scientist, regardless of their background or identity.
